Well-Travelled Adu Becomes a Saint
Ian Allinson, manager of Vanarama National League South club St Albans City, has signed experienced and well-travelled forward Albert Adu.

The 30-year old Dutchman was most recently with BetVictor Isthmian league South Central side Ware, where he was in his second spell.

 

He left Ware to try his luck in the Faroe Islands before going back to continental Europe has returned.

 

His first spell at the club saw him complete 52 appearances and score 14 goals.

 

He had previously played in the Spanish third division for CD Comarca De Nijar after leaving his native Holland where he turned out for FC Zeeburgia before moving on to KSV Roseleare of Belgium.

 

He left Ware to play for Tvøroyrar Bóltfelag in the Faroes League and later moved on to Klaksvíkar Ítróttarfelag.

 

He then played in Belgium with Mandel United.
