Walters Earns Altrincham Deal

Vanarama National League North club Altrincham have signed winger Lewis Walters after a successful trial spell in pre-season.

Walters joins the Robins after being released by National League side AFC Fylde at the end of last season.

He had joined the Coasters in February 2019 on non-contract terms after leaving Guiseley AFC, who he had signed for in September 2018.

He started his career with Leeds United and progressed through to the under-18 and under-23 sides.

After leaving Elland Road he joined Nottingham Forest in July 2016 and made 15 appearances for Barrow AFC in 2017/18 season whilst on loan.

Leeds-based, Walters had trials at Carlisle United in the summer of 2018 ahead of joining Guiseley.
