Stones Take Canaries Keeper for Six Months
Vanarama National League South club Wealdstone have made a late signing in goalkeeper Aston Oxborough on a six-month loan from Premier League new boys Norwich City.

The 21-year-old signed a professional contract at Carrow Road in April 2018 after impressing in 23 appearances for the under-23s.

 

Oxborough made his first team bow against King's Lynn Town during the Canaries' pre-season tour last year.

 

The 6`5” shot-stopper has also represented England at under-16 level and has earned 4 caps.

 

Oxborough's loan will last until January 2020 and he will be eligible for selection in today's season opener against Dartford.
