Parrington brings with him a wealth of coaching experience, contacts and knowledge of the game.
His ideas and philosophy proved an instant hit with the club`s committee which ultimately made him the club`s number one choice.
As a player, Parrington represented England under-16, West Ham United and Basingstoke Town.
He was then offered a scholarship to America, where he won national player of the year and gained a business degree.
Parrington has played for both Knaphill and Westfield, where he helped them win promotion to the CCL Premier Division.
Parrington has worked at multiple levels as a coach both in the UK and USA, and will bring lots of energy, passion and professionalism to the club which matches Knaphill`s aim for promotion.
Parrington, who holds a UEFA B badge, brings in a management team of Richard Keown, Jack French and Sam Townend.
Keown is no stranger to the club, having managed the club`s development side for the last two seasons and will be assistant-manager.
French comes in as video analyst and coach.
He is an ambitious young coach who spent last year with Woking`s first-team, providing video analysis.
During the season he also gained experience with Manchester United.
He also holds an FA level 2 in coaching and will be looking to enrol on his UEFA B this coming year.
Townend comes in as coach and will be assisting with the day-to-day running of the team. |
