Doyle Makes Broadhurst Park Switch
BetVictor Northern Premier League Premier Division newcomers FC United of Manchester have signed central defender Chris Doyle from NPL Division One North West side Marine AFC.

He started his career in the Everton academy from the age of 10 to 14 before joining the youth setup at Morecambe.

 

He signed a pro-contract at the age of 17 at the start of the 2012/13 season and made his first team debut in the Shrimp’s 3–0 win against Rochdale, coming on as a late sub.

 

He had a successful loan period at Chorley until the end of the 2014/15 season. scoring 5 times in 26 appearances.

 

He signed an extended twelve-month contract with Morecambe at start of 2015/16 season but was released in May 2016 and joined Southport but suffered a serious knee injury.

 

Doyle joined Marine in July 2018 after being lured back into football following his injury and made 37 appearances, scoring 6 goals.
