The Shaymen inflicted back-to-back defeats on Hartlepool United with a 2-0 win at The Shay with goals from Josh Staunton after 55 minutes and Tobi Sho-Silva 10 minutes later.

There were first wins for Harrogate Town, Solihull Moors, Bromley, Yeovil Town, Dagenham & Redbridge and Aldershot Town.

Harrogate enjoyed a comprehensive 3-0 victory at the Furness Building Society Stadium against the only other side yet to pick up a point to date – Barrow AFC.

A Tyler Smith own goal set the Yorkshire side up after 32 minutes and then Joe Leesley after 55 minutes and Connor Hall 5 minutes from time completed a comfortable win for the visitors.

Solihull beat Torquay United 3-0 at The Automated Technology Group Stadium, with a brace from Jamey Osborne on 7 and 43 minutes sandwiched by a Terry Hawkridge penalty.

Bromley ensured Ebbsfleet United are also looking for a first point in 2019/20 after a 3-1 win at Hayes Lane in which Billy Bingham scored twice in the 31st and 74th minutes after Michael Cheek had given the Ravens a 19th minute lead – Aswad Thomas replying in the last minute for Fleet.

Relegated Yeovil scored in the 3rd minutes through Courtney Duffus at Huish Park and that proved enough to earn three points against Eastleigh.

And the Daggers sealed a good 2-1 win at Crabble against fancied Dover Athletic, with goals from Angelo Balanta after 27 minutes and an own goal attributed to Dover `keeper Lee Worgan 9 minutes after half-time after Josh Passley had equalised in the 39th minute.

Aldershot`s Jacob Berkeley-Agyepong scored the only goal after 22 minutes to win at the Laithwaite Community Stadium against promoted Woking.

Unbeaten after two matches following Tuesday night draws are Sutton United, Wrexham, AFC Fylde, Barnet and Maidenhead United.

Sutton shared a 1-1 draw with Barnet at Gander Green Lane, with Simeon Akinola`s 38th minute penalty for the visitors being cancelled out by Harry Beautyman just shy of the hour-mark.

Wrexham will be disappointed as they took a two-goal lead at Meadow Park against Boreham Wood through Mark Harris after 14 minutes and Bobby Grant on 69 minutes.

However, goals from Keiran Murtagh in the 83rd minute and Justin Shaibu in stoppage time saw Wood come back to earn their first point.

AFC Fylde and Lancastrian rivals Chorley battled out a 0-0 draw at Mill Farm – the newly promoted Magpies first point of 2019/20 – while Maidenhead drew 1-1 at York Road with a Chesterfield side still searching for their first win.

Remy Clerima broke the deadlock after 62 minutes to out the Magpies in front but the Spireites fought back with a Taye Ashby-Hammond own goal 12 minutes from time to share the points.

Relegated Notts County and promoted Stockport County both picked up their first point in front of 5,820 at Meadow Park.

Mitch Rose`s 37th minute opener for the Magpies was levelled by Nyal Bell for the Hatters 19 minutes from the end.
