Born
in Pembury, 22-year-old Philpot spent his youth career at Millwall and
eventually made it into their first team, scoring one goal in 9 appearances for
them.
Whilst
at The New Den he had loan spells at Bromley, Woking and Welling United before
joining Dartford on a permanent basis in 2018.
He
scored 5 times in 21 appearances for the Wings before making the step up to
National League level with Maidstone United.
He
had a brief spell at Bromley before signing for Barrow AFC in March 2019.
New
Staines boss Anthony Gale has brought former fan favourite Ashley Lodge back to
Wheatsheaf Park.
The
29-year-old spent several seasons with the Swans in a couple of spells, making
over 150 appearances and picking up several player awards prior to his
departure in December 2015.
Before
joining Staines in 2012, Lodge played for Molesey and Ashford Town (Middx) and
after the Swans, turned out for Hayes & Yeading United, Egham Town and back
at Molesey.
The
Swans have also signed young striker Calvin Barreto.
Barreto
has been playing for Old Windsor in the East Berkshire League and was also dual
registered with Staines.
