Nine New Faces for Hayes & Yeading
BetVictor Southern League Premier Division South club Hayes & Yeading United have revealed no less than NINE new signings ahead of tomorrow`s league opener at Tiverton Town.

Two players Keano Robinson and Dan Spence - return to the club for second spells.

 

Robinson is a 21-year-old versatile defender who first signed for Hayes & Yeading in September 2017.  

 

He originally came through the youth ranks at Peterborough United and spent some time with Sutton Common Rovers in the Combined Counties League.

 

He showed some impressive form during the 2017/18 campaign and was re-signed by Paul Hughes for last season's campaign. However, limited starting opportunities led to him cutting short his tenure by signing for Cambridge City in November 2018.

 

The experienced 29-year-old Spence is a defender who re-joins from Vanarama National League side Woking having spent two seasons with Hayes & Yeading towards the start of the decade.

 

He started his career in the academy at Reading during which time he had a short loan spells at Woking and Salisbury City.

 

Upon his release by Reading he embarked on an 18-month stint at the Glenn Hoddle Academy in Spain until signing for Mansfield Town in January 2011.

 

He was released by the Stags in May 2011 when he first joined Hayes.

 

After leaving United in February 2013 he spent several seasons with both Eastleigh and then Sutton United before helping the Cards to promotion last season.

 

Ravan Constable is a 24-year-old goalkeeper who joins to compete with Jack Smith for the number one shirt.

 

He started out with Spartan South Midlands Leaguers Cockfosters before being snapped up by Barnet late in 2015.

 

He then moved to Potters Bar Town before being signed by National League South side Wealdstone in August 2017.

 

From the Stones he spent most of last season with Hayes & Yeading`s new league rivals Beaconsfield Town.

 

Jerome Eccleston is a defender who also joins from Beaconsfield, where he spent the last two seasons.

 

He started out with Southall before a season with AFC Hayes was followed by spells with Egham Town and Chesham United before arriving with Beaconsfield in 2017.

 

Gabriel Piorkowski is a young 18-year-old midfielder who started out with Hanwell Town before joining the Staines Town academy prior to signing first team forms with the Swans last season.

 

He now comes to United looking to push his career ahead at a senior level.

 

Lyle Della-Verde is a well-travelled 24-year-old attacking midfielder who ended the 2018/19 campaign with Isthmian League Premier Division side Haringey Borough.

 

His early career saw him start with Tottenham Hotspur before moving to Southend United and then Fulham where he signed his first professional contract aged 17 in January 2012 and had a loan spell at Bristol Rovers.

 

After leaving Fulham he signed for Fleetwood Town and then Crawley Town later the same season.

 

At the end of that season he moved onto the non-League circuit with Welling United from where he moved to Concord Rangers and then Dartford.

 

He started last season in the National League with Braintree Town before moving for a very brief spell at Kingstonian prior to joining Haringey in March 2019.

 

Dean Mason is another experienced and much-travelled player.

 

The 30-year-old defender is a current Montserrat international who joins Hayes & Yeading from National League side Maidenhead United.

 

Mason started his career in the Southampton academy before moving to the Barnet youth side and into their first team squad.

 

After 2 years with the Bees he moved to AFC Wimbledon where he helped them to the Conference South title.

 

From the Dons he had short spells with Maidenhead, Bishop's Stortford and Haringey before settling in at Canvey Island in 2012.

 

The following season he moved to Wingate & Finchley then Arlesey Town before spending a couple of years on the Norfolk coast with Lowestoft Town.

 

From there he has been with Concord Rangers, Cambridge City, Ware and Enfield Town prior to re-joining the Magpies last season.

 

Ogo Obi is a pacey 21-year-old striker who joins from new league rivals Hendon.

 

He started out with Watford before joining Cardiff City where he played for the Bluebirds under-23 side before moving to Hampton & Richmond Borough.

 

From the Beavers he joined Wealdstone from whom he joined Hendon in January 2019 on dual registration.

 

He was the target for Liverpool and Arsenal as a schoolboy and also had a trial at Louis van Gaal's Manchester United after netting 10 goals in 5 games for Watford's youngsters in 2013.

 

Dylan Switters is an 18-year-old midfielder who joins from League Two side Stevenage after showing well against Hayes & Yeading for Wealdstone during pre-season.

 

He began his career at Norwich City where he played regularly for the Canaries at under-18 level before signing an 18-month scholarship with Stevenage in December 2017.

 

H made his senior debut for Stevenage in April 2018 against Exeter City as a late sub and had loan spells last season with Thurlow Nunn League side Great Yarmouth Town, scoring 3 times in 5 appearances before another loan spell saw him spend time with now-Southern Premier Division Central outfit Kings Langley.
