Two Added to Gate Squad
Jay Saunders, manager of BetVictor Isthmian League Premier Division club Margate, has made a couple of additions to his squad ahead of tomorrow’s season opener versus Brightlingsea Regent.

Giani Ashley and Harrison Pont have both signed deals at Hartsdown Park for the 2019/20 campaign.

 

Ashley joins the club having attended the club`s open trial back in June.

 

The midfielder played for South Park in the Isthmian South Central in 2018/19 and numbers AFC Hornchurch, Cambridge City, Bedford FC and Bedford Town amongst his other previous clubs.

 

He adds further options to Saunders` squad and can slot into a number of roles.

 

Pont is a young midfielder who played for Southern Counties East League Premier Division side Hollands & Blair, as well as being part of the successful Dover Athletic academy and Kent FA representative teams last season.
