Martin Adds to Romford Numbers

Paul Martin, manager of reprieved BetVictor Isthmian League North club Romford, has made several new signings over the last few days.

Forward Giovanni Palmer has joined from Essex Senior League side Clapton.

He was previously in the youth side at Vanarama National League outfit Aldershot Town

Goalkeeper Jack Riddell arrives from Essex Alliance League Docklands Albion, while defender Ross Dipple, formerly with Hornchurch, joins from Essex Olympian League side Toby FC.

They follow the news that ex-Boro favourite Jonathan Nzengo had returned to the club.

Nzengo played for Romford on dual registration from East Thurrock United whilst the clubs were groundsharing.

He was released by the Rocks recently and Martin wasted no time in signing Nzengo for the second time.

He was previously with Ware, Great Wakering Rovers, Maldon & Tiptree and Barkingside.
