Nineteen-year-old Brad Lynch joins having spent last season with Colls` league rivals Colne FC where he scored 17 goals in 47 games along with numerous assists.

He had been announced as a summer signing by Vanarama National League North side Curzon Ashton, where he spent the majority of pre-season, but did a U-turn to join the Colls.

He was originally part of the Blackburn Rovers academy, appearing for youth teams up to the under-18s.

Manager Michael Clegg has also brought in keeper Theo Roberts on loan from National League North side Chester FC.

Roberts spent last season on loan at Colls` new league rivals Buxton as they finished in fifth place in the Northern Premier League Premier Division to qualify for the play-offs, eventually losing to South Shields at Mariners Park.

He started his career with Wigan Athletic, he made his debut in the EFL Trophy against Accrington Stanley at the DW Stadium in 2017 before joining AFC Fylde on `work experience`, having actually joined Colls, again on loan, for a brief period in December 2017.
