BetVictor Northern Premier League Premier Division club Ashton United have signed vastly experienced central midfielder Tom Field.

The 34-year-old joins the Robins from Cymru North side Bangor City, who he joined in August 2018 from Marine AFC.

 

He had signed for the Mariners from Welsh Premier outfit Connah’s Quay Nomads in August 2017.

 

He began his career at Everton and has gone on to play for a number of clubs in England and Wales, including Stalybridge Celtic, Vauxhall Motors, Leigh Genesis, AFC Telford United, Droylsden, Northwich Victoria, Airbus UK Broughton, Chorley and Stockport County.

 

During his time at Airbus he was a key member of the team that qualified for the Europa League, netting 25 goals in 96 appearances for the WIngmakers.
