The
28-year-old Nimley featured for the Poppies during pre-season as a triallist
having had spells abroad in recent years.
After
starting out with Mighty Barrolle in his home city of Monrovia in Liberia, he
played for Cameroon side Coton de Garoua before being signed on a 4-year deal
by Manchester City in 2008.
He
made his one and only Premier League appearance against Burnley in April 2010
but had loan spells with Middlesbrough, Coventry City and Crystal Palace and
also won 3 England under-20 international caps.
He
was released by City in November 2014 and joined Port Vale but played only one
game before being released for disciplinary reasons.
He
embarked on his travels abroad with Romanian sides Poli Timisoara and Viirorul
Constanta, Norwegian outfit Stabaek and then in Finland with Honka, where he
made 25 appearances in their 2018/19 season.
