The Lambs have signed goalkeeper Richard Walton from league rivals Coalville Town.

Walton is a product of Lincoln City’s academy and was a member of the squad that were promoted to the Football League.

The 6`3” keeper has plenty of experience at non-League level having had loan spells with Lincoln United and Gainsborough Trinity.

He signed for Northern Premier League Premier Division outfit Matlock Town in the summer of 2018 for an undisclosed fee before joining Coalville in December 2018.

Also becoming a late Lamb signing is Coden Duncan.

The 18-year-old is a skilful midfielder who featured in a couple of pre-season games off the bench for the Lambs against Leicester Nirvana and Aston Villa.

He joins from Notts County where he played for the now Vanarama National League side`s under-18s before his release in the summer.

Midfielder Alex Howes and centre-back Jamie Chisholm have joined Tamworth on one-month loan deals.

Howes signed a professional contract for Notts County in September 2018 after being part of their academy since the age of 9.

He made his senior debut in a SkyBet League Two home match against Colchester United in April 2017.

He has also spent time on loan with Coalville, but injuries have restricted his appearances over the last couple of seasons.

Chisholm joins from League Two side Mansfield Town.

He has earned rave reviews for his commanding performances for the Stags` academy and reserves set-ups and has already attracted the attention of Premier League new boys Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The18-year-old was snapped up by the Stags in the summer of 2018 after he was the stand out player in National League side Solihull Moors` academy.
