The 26-year-old has made the short move to Prescot after the Knowsley-based outfit submitted a 7-day approach notice.

Myler made 57 appearances for the Whites after joining for Marine AFC in August 2017, making his debut in Widnes’ first-ever Hallmark Security League Premier Division game at West Didsbury & Chorlton.

A local lad, Myler became a real fans’ favourite at his hometown club as Widnes sealed promotion from the North West Counties top-flight later that season, alongside triumph in the Macron Cup final.

Although ruled out through injury, Myler and Widnes won the North West Counties Champions Cup in July 2018, and he went on to make 19 appearances in the Whites’ first-ever term in the Northern Premier League.
