The 26-year-old was with league rivals Bracknell Town last season, signing in March 2019 from Vanarama National League South side Wealdstone.

Rodgers had joined the Stones in November 2017 from Hungerford Town after leaving Swindon Town at the end of the 2016/17 season.

He started his career with Chelsea`s academy before moving to Brighton & Hove Albion in May 2011.

He made his senior debut for Brighton in an FA Cup tie against Wrexham in January 2012.

In March 2013, Rodgers joined League Two side Exeter City on a two-month loan deal and when he returned to Brighton, he was released.

In July 2013, he signed for Oldham Athletic on a one-year contract but was released by the Latics after limited appearances in the first team.

In the summer of 2014, preceding his release from Oldham, Rodgers joined Swindon.

He went on to play 68 times and net 5 goals for the Robins before being released.

Rodgers has been capped by the Republic of Ireland at under-17 and under-19 level.

Bartley told https://www.marlowfc.co.uk: “I'm delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Anton Rodgers.  Anton is a player who I had been speaking to since the middle of pre-season and I'm pleased that we have been able to finally get him on board.

“Anton`s quality greatly compliments what we have and I think it's obvious that bringing him on board will improve our squad, and enhance our chances of success this season.”

In addition to Rodgers, four other players, who joined for pre-season, have impressed enough to sign Isthmian League forms.

Defender Robin Emanuels and attackers, former Watford and Biggleswade Town man Joel Ageyman, ex-Dunstable Town player Wilson Ferreira and one-time London Tigers and AFC Hayes forward Victor Montes have all been added to Bartley`s squad.
