Another Young Black Cat Heads to South Shields
Young striker Lee Connelly has joined BetVictor Northern Premier League Premier Division club South Shields on a month`s loan from SkyBet League One side Sunderland.

The 19-year-old, who has been in Sunderland’s youth system for the last 3 years, joins fellow under-23s team-mate Jordan Hunter at Mariners Park.

 

Connelly made his first team debut last October in the Black Cats` 3-1 win at home to Carlisle United in the Checkatrade Trophy.

 

The Scotsman, who has represented his country at under-15, 16 and under-17 level, now links up with the to further his development in senior football.
