Young Middlesbrough goalkeeper Zach Hemming has joined Vanarama National League neighbours Hartlepool United on loan until the end of December.

Hemming, who hails from Bishop Auckland, has been with the SkyBet Championship outfit`s academy since 2013 and has featured in both the under-18s and under-23s. He has also trained with England.

He made 3 appearances on loan with National League North side Darlington in November 2018 - the Quakers remaining unbeaten with him between the posts.

He will still be eligible for Boro`s under-23s and is likely to feature tomorrow against Swansea and could be in the Hartlepool squad on Saturday for their trip to Chorley.
