Pearson had only joined Spartans in the summer from Consett`s league rivals Newcastle Benfield.

He had moved to Benfield in June 2018 from Ashington.

Pearson was amongst the substitutes for Morpeth Town when they recorded a 4-1 victory over Hereford FC to lift the Buildbase FA Vase at Wembley in May 2016.

He had spells with Blyth Town and a second stint at West Allotment Celtic ahead of joining the Colliers and had joined Morpeth in November 2015 from Dunston UTS, having previously been with Crook Town and Consett.
