Vanarama National League North club AFC Telford United have signed striker Lewis Reilly on a month`s loan from SkyBet League Two side Crewe Alexandra.

The 20-year-old was offered professional terms in the summer of 2017 by the Railwaymen having impressed with his eye for a goal in the under-18s.

 

He was tasked with replicating that in the under-23 side which he did on a regular basis.

 

Reilly went on to make 9 appearances in the first team during the 2017/18 season, making 2 starts and 3 substitute appearances, scoring 2 goals on his full debut in a 4-2 Leasing.com Trophy defeat to Port Vale at Vale Park.

 

Last year, he made just 2 appearances but continued to score regularly for the under-23s before gaining experience out on loan with the Bucks` league rivals Curzon Ashton where he scored 8 goals in 16 appearances before he was recalled to Gresty Road for the rest of the season.
