The
Blues have added several new players to their squad.
Goalkeeper
Montel Joseph is a Trinidad & Tobago under-20 and under-23 international
who spent much of last season with Spartan South Midlands League Premier
Division side Wembley, but also turned out for Barking on dual registration.
He
started his career with Bristol City and went on to play for Holmer Green,
Boreham Wood, Northwood, Hendon and Dover Athletic amongst others.
Midfielder
Johnny Ashman joins the Blues having spent last season at Witham Town, scoring
10 goals.
He
numbers Bowers & Pitsea, Aveley, Cheshunt and Clapton amongst his former clubs.
Winger
Manny Ighorae was previously at Concord Rangers, Wycombe Wanderers and returns
to Mayesbrook Park for a second spell.
After
leaving the Chairboys he joined Marlow in September 2014 and then signed for
Hanwell Town in the summer of 2015 and then Aveley in July 2016.
Moving
to Concord Rangers in October 2016, he left the Beachboys to sign for Vanarama
National League South rivals Dartford in July 2018 and also joined Barking on
dual registration in September 2018.
He
left the Darts in December 2018 and joined Isthmian Premier Division side
Merstham.
Also
joining Barking is centre-back Dan Flemming, who had signed for Isthmian South
East side Ramsgate in June.
Flemming
arrived at Ramsgate from Southern Counties East League outfit Fisher FC, where
he made over 40 appearances during the last campaign.
The
22-year old central defender stands at 6’2” and has previously played for
Sittingbourne and Beckenham Town.
A
new forward to move to Mayesbrook is Fahad Nyanja (pictured).
He
spent the 2018/19 season turning out for Bowers & Pitsea and Basildon
United.
He
has previously had several spells with Essex Senior League side Clapton. |
