The 22-year-old was in his third spell with Wimborne having re-signed in June 2016 from Dorchester Town.

He had initially joined on a permanent basis in October 2015 from Poole Town but was first a Magpie in 2014/15 when he made 17 appearances on loan from AFC Bournemouth.

Salisbury had made three previous attempts to lure him over to Wiltshire – each time the player deciding to remain a Magpie.
