Budd`s Back at Bay

BetVictor Isthmian League South East club Herne Bay have re-signed experienced goalkeeper Rob Budd from Isthmian League North newcomers Hullbridge Sports.

The 31-year-old had only joined the Essex Senior League champions in July having been with Brentwood Town in 2018/19.

Budd had originally joined Bay in the summer of 2017 but suffered a broken hand in pre-season. When he was fit, he made his debut and only appearance in September at home to Margate in the Kent Senior Cup and later that month he went on dual registration to Southern Counties East League Premier Division outfit Sheppey United but was injured in his first appearance.

He then moved to Romford in February 2018.

His other former clubs include Thamesmead Town, VCD Athletic and AFC Hornchurch.
