Street Move for New Centre-Back
05-02-2019 I News Headlines
Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South club Street have signed centre-back Sam Hedges from league rivals Paulton Rovers.

The young defender impressed playing for Rovers against the Cobblers earlier on in the season and with suspensions kicking in it was an area of the squad manager Richard Fey was keen to address.

The 19-year-old was snapped up by Rovers when he was released by |SkyBet League One side Bristol Rovers during the summer of 2017.

Fey told his club`s website: "Sam is a lad I have kept tabs on since he left Bristol Rovers and joined Paulton. He is a good young defender with a physical presence who did well against us this season. With Ben Amghar and Ross McErlain both suspended, we had to strengthen this position and Sam will go straight into squad for our game with Bideford Saturday".
