Now
37, Brayley played alongside Joe Cole and Michael Carrick whilst on the books at West
Ham United and starred for them in their 1999 FA Youth Cup win over Coventry
City, scoring 3 goals over the two-legged final.
Since
leaving the Hammers Brayley has enjoyed a very well-travelled career, taking in
stops of varying lengths at Queens Park Rangers, Swindon, Canvey Island,
Hornchurch, Farnborough Town, Billericay Town, Braintree Town, Aldershot Town,
Chelmsford City, Bishop’s Stortford, Concord Rangers, Margate, Eastleigh and
Thurrock, Harlow Town, Bishop`s Stortford, Basildon United, Great Wakering
Rovers, Burnham Ramblers and Basildon United – the latter two he also managed
for a while.
Brayley
made several appearances for the England Learning Disabilities team as they
reached the quarter finals of the INAS World Football Championships in 2006.
