Lita announced his retirement from the game earlier this month after spells in Greece with AO Chania and in Thailand for Sisaket and a brief time in the Isthmian League Premier Division last season with Margate.

He played for Birmingham City, Sheffield Wednesday, Brighton, Barnsley, Notts County, Swansea City, Norwich City and Yeovil Town in England, but will perhaps be best remembered for his spells with Reading and Middlesbrough.

The 34-year-old has joined Rovers as a coach to oversee, deliver and support the club's EJA section and first team environments.
