Experienced
striker Rene Howe, midfielders David Fitzpatrick and Steve Ward and left-back
Jude Mason have all checked into the Elmbridge Xcel Sports Hub to try and help
the club find their first win of 2019/20.
Howe (pictured),
32, joins from Southern Premier Central side Kings Langley, who he signed for in
August 2018 after just over a month with Hendon.
He
had joined the Greens from Kettering Town, where he made 168 appearances
scoring 63 goals in two spells.
He
began his career at Bedford Town, and has also played for Peterborough United,
Burton Albion, Newport County, Torquay United, Bristol Rovers and Newport
County.
He
made almost 250 League appearances in his career.
Born
in Surbiton in Surrey, Fitzpatrick played as a youth for Fulham, Staines Town
and Hampton & Richmond Borough before joining Queen’s Park Rangers.
He
signed a full contract for the R`s in the summer of 2013 and was released the
following summer having not made a senior appearance.
He
joined AFC Wimbledon and over three seasons he made 13 appearances scoring
once.
He
had a spell on loan with Tonbridge Angels in 2015, scoring once in nine games
and in the 2016/17 season he scored twice in 9 games on loan to Torquay United.
He
was released by the Dons in the summer and joined Barrow AFC in June 2017.
A
year later he returned south to sign for Dorking Wanderers but left after three
months to join Kingstonian.
Ward
is a long-serving midfielder with Kings Langley, having joined back in 2014 and
playing a major part in their progress through the Pyramid to the Southern
Premier South.
He
joined from Northwood and has made in excess of 200 appearances for Kings,
scoring 36 goals.
He
joins Casuals initially on loan.
As
does Mason, who is a graduate of Vanarama National League club Sutton United`s
academy.
He
was added to the first team squad midway through last season and has also had a
loan spell with National League South side Hampton & Richmond Borough. |
