Tilley signed his first professional contract for the Seagulls in August 2015 and has since established himself as a key player in the club's under-23 side.

The striker made his first-team debut as a stoppage time substitute at Middlesbrough on the final day of the 2014/15 season, before making his next appearance against Oxford United in the EFL Cup in 2016.

Tilley finished the 2016/17 season as top goalscorer for the under-23 team, after hitting the back of the net on 13 occasions.

The forward then scored the winning goal for Albion’s first team against Barnet in the Carabao Cup and made numerous appearances for Albion's under-23s to help them win promotion.

Tilley made ten appearances for Albion in the Premier League 2 Division 1, as well as three in the Checkatrade Trophy, before securing a loan move to Irish club Cork City until the end of the 2018/19 season.
