....Sam Denly has decided to resign his position as manager of BetVictor Isthmian League South East club Hythe Town.

Denly, brother of current England Ashes batsman Joe, has been a very popular and friendly face around Reachfields since his appointment in 2017 and no-one at the club wanted this time to arrive.

Denly took over the Cannons` hot seat in January 2018 having previously been in charge of rivals Herne Bay for four years until he resigned during the 2016/17 season.

Those wishing to be considered for the vacancy should forward their names in confidence to the secretary by e-mail at martinandsuegiles@gmail.com by 10pm on Friday September 6th.

Shortlisted applicants will then be advised on Saturday and should then be able to attend an interview process at a designated local place and time on Sunday September 8th, 2019.
