Fonguck, who is still only 22, featured regularly for the Bees last season scoring 9 goals from midfield.

He spent most of the summer considering a possible future in Scandinavia after a couple of clubs made transfer offers and subsequently missed the beginning of this season.

However, after weighing up his options and seeing the progress made by manager Darren Currie and the team he decided on a return to The Hive to re-join the Bees for their promotion push this year.

Chairman Tony Kleanthous told https://www.barnetfc.com: “Wes’s agent and I were able to quickly secure an amicable arrangement for his return and it’s great to have Wes back in the squad. He has the potential to become a top-class player and we are pleased he has chosen us to continue with his development”.
