....added two more to their squad ahead of today`s game
in the Emirates FA Cup at Romulus.
Midfielder
Josh Wallen joins from National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town, while youngster
Adam Porter joins on `work experience` from SkyBet Championship side Stoke City.
Wallen (pictured),
who turned 23 on Thursday, had only signed for the Tudors in August.
Born
in Sydney, Australia, he moved to the UK at 16 years old from Palm Beach Soccer
Club when he was offered a scholarship with Watford.
He
played for the Hornets for two years until he signed a professional contract
with Queens Park Rangers as a 19-year-old.
He
signed a one-year deal after having his 2016/17 season disrupted by a long-term
injury, making just 5 appearances for the under-23 side, and his contract at
Loftus Road expired in the summer of 2018.
He
had a loan spell with Hemel`s league rivals Chelmsford City in March 2018 and
then moved north to sign for then-National League North outfit FC United of
Manchester, for whom he made 26 appearances and scored 3 goals in 2018/19.
Porter
is an 18-year-old central midfielder who has been a regular in the Stoke
under-18 after coming through the academy at the Britannia Stadium. |
