Craig Spink has resigned as manager of BetVictor Northern Premier League Division One South East club Frickley Athletic.

Spink was only appointed in May having been on the Blues coaching staff for part of last season.

 

Spink took over from Martin McIntosh having been manager at Harworth Colliery.

 

The club have thanked him for his hard work and dedication during his period in charge and have wished him and his family well for the future.

 

Spink told the club`s website: “Thank you to everyone who made my return, although brief, a very enjoyable time, from Spencer Fearn to the media team to the fans to all the volunteers.”

 

Sporting director Spencer Fearn will take temporary charge of the team, whilst the club recruits a new manager.

 

Applications for the post are to be sent to ryan@frickleyathletic.co.uk.

 

Deadline is Saturday, 14th September 2019 at 5pm.
