Goal on Debut for New Trafford Defender

BetVictor Northern Premier League Division One North West club Trafford have signed defender Jake Kenny from NPL Premier Division new boys Atherton Collieries.

Kenny joined Colls in the summer of 2014 from Manchester League champions Hindsford.

He previously had spells at FC Halifax Town and Salford City.

He made the right-back position his own at Colls and was a pivotal player in the club’s success in winning the NPL Division One West title in 2018/19, despite missing the latter half of the season with injury.

He joins Trafford after a short loan spell with Hallmark Security League Premier Division side West Didsbury & Chorlton and got off to a great start with his new club, netting in Saturday`s 3-0 win against NPL Premier Division side Bamber Bridge in the Emirates FA Cup.
