Denton led the Tigers to promotion back to the NPL from the Toolstation Northern Counties East League last season, guiding the team to an incredible 22-match winning run last season which resulted in a league and cup `double` and a return to the NPL after a 5-year absence.

Denton leaves Sandy Lane after 16 months in charge and comes after a 3-1 win at Carlton Town last weekend.

The club will be making a statement about Saturday’s match against Belper Town as soon as possible.
