Dave Wild and Terry Hincks, joint-managers of Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One West club Mossley AFC, have signed....

....Gary Gee from NPL Premier Division side Buxton, six years after the midfield playmaker left the Lilywhites for pastures new.

Gee, now age 32, began his career as a junior with Stockport County before joining Woodley Sports.

He first signed for Mossley in 2012 and went on to play an important role for the Lilywhites, making 48 appearances and scoring 6 goals, as the side reached the promotion play-offs and won the Manchester Premier Cup, beating Salford City in the final at Stockport County’s Edgeley Park.

Having won the Mossleyweb player of the year award that season, he followed manager Steve Halford to Ashton United in August 2013, making over 100 appearances for the Hurst Cross outfit before again following Halford onto Stalybridge Celtic, Glossop North End and most recently Buxton.
