Goodall
is one of the more inexperienced players of the Seagulls youthful squad, despite
only being 20.
He
is a full back who is capable of getting up and down the right flank, with his
qualities able to move defence into attack.
Having
started out with the Seagulls academy after joining as an under-14, Goodall
then spent a year away from the club before being re-introduced to by then-under-18
manager Jake Mawford in 2016/17.
Goodall
gained experience with Bridgwater Town in 2017 towards the back-end of the
season, however he was unable to prevent them from being relegated to the
Toolstation Western League.
During
2017/18, Goodall gained further experience in the Western League Premier
Division with Shepton Mallet on dual registration, playing 26 times and scoring
one goal.
He
was integrated into Weston`s first team set-up during the final month of the
campaign, making his debut away to Welling United and starting for the first
time in the Somerset Premier Cup final triumph over Paulton Rovers in a 3-2 victory,
putting in a star performance.
In
2018/19, Goodall again spent time in the Western League with Shepton Mallet on
dual registration, this time making 29 appearances.
