Melksham
have signed Daniel Ojo and defender Joe Romanski on loan from Vanarama National
League side Yeovil Town and SkyBet League Two neighbours Swindon Town
respectively and brought in goalkeeper Jamie Bartlett.
Eighteen-year-old
Ojo is a left back who came through Yeovil`s academy and signed a first professional
contract in December 2018.
Having
come through the academy system at Charlton Athletic the left-back joined the
Glovers` under-18s in 2017 before being brought into train with the first team
ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
He
made his senior debut in the Checkatrade Trophy meeting with West Ham United
under-21s in November 2018.
Nineteen-year-old
defender Romanski (pictured) will spend a month on loan from Swindon.
He
links up with Richard Fey’s squad amid Melksham’s defensive woes that have seen
them concede 19 goals in their first 6 competitive fixtures.
The
academy graduate is no stranger to non-League football, having spent the latter
part of last season on loan with National League South side Bath City.
Bartlett
was formerly with Toolstation Western League sides Bradford Town and Calne Town
but quit semi-pro football a couple of years ago due to being in the Royal Air
Force. |
