The
22-year-old re-joined the Quakers earlier this summer following his release
from Scottish Premiership side St Mirren.
He
left Quakers for St Mirren for £75,000 following the end of the 2017/18 season
having made 21 appearances, scoring once, but played only twice and spent four
months on loan with league rivals Kidderminster Harriers in 2018/19 before
returning to Scotland.
Before
joining Darlington for the first time in November 2017, Heaton played for
Droylsden, Stalybridge Celtic, Bamber Bridge and Ramsbottom United after
starting his career with Preston North End. |
