The
Ravens remain the only side yet to taste defeat in 2019/20 but made it five
draws when sub Cavanagh Miley equalised for the Spitfires 4 minutes from time
after Luke Coulson had given Neil Smith`s side a 63rd minute lead.
Woking
remain top of the early table though, but they too were held to a draw – 2-2 at
Kingfield against bottom-of-the-table Ebbsfleet United.
However,
the Cards will be disappointed to drop two points as they led through Tyreke
Johnson after 9 minutes and then Jake Hyde 13 minutes from time.
Alex
Reid reduced the deficit in the 84th minute and then a fine
free-kick from Myles Weston pulled Garry Hill`s men level a minute into
stoppage time.
None
of the top three at kick-off managed a win as FC Halifax Town suffered a third
defeat of the season to date when Kyle Wootton`s 58th minute effort
proved decisive for hosts Notts County.
In
contrast, none of the bottom three lost!
Fleet`s
draw at Woking was matched by Chorley, who earned a good 1-1 outcome at Crabble
against Dover Athletic, whose Ricky Modeste gave them a 20th minute
lead.
But
an own goal attributed to keeper Lee Worgan on 68 minutes salvaged a point for the
Magpies.
And
Chesterfield came off bottom spot after earning their first win of the season,
1-0 at the Proact Stadium against Torquay United, thanks to a 12th
minute Scott Boden goal.
It`s
seven games without a win now for AFC Fylde as they slid to a 3-2 defeat at
Huish Park against Yeovil Town, who led 2-0 through Rhys Murphy after 7 minutes
and Matt Worthington on 15 minutes.
Jordan
Williams pulled one back for the Coasters on the hour-mark only for sub Jimmy
Smith to make it 3-1 in the 79th minute – Kyle Jameson`s second
coming 4 minutes from time.
A
goal after 66 minutes from Jason Walker sealed Barnet`s win at The Hive against
Maidenhead United, while Harrogate Town and Boreham Wood couldn`t find a goal
between them at the CNG Stadium.
Aldershot
Town enjoyed a good 2-1 win at Edgeley Park against Stockport County, scoring
two goals in 4 minutes midway through the first half from Harry Panayiotou and
Alefein Santos.
Joe
Piggott pulled one back for the Hatters 17 minutes from time but Jim Gannon`s
side were unable to find a leveller.
Barrow
AFC had a good afternoon at the Furness Building Society Stadium, beating
Solihull Moors 3-0 with goals from John Rooney in the 9th and 45th
minutes and Scott Quigley 4 minutes after the break.
Dagenham
& Redbridge also had a good home win, beating Hartlepool United 3-1, taking
a 24th minute lead through Joe Quigley.
An
own goal by keeper Ben Killip doubled the Daggers lead and, aftere Ryan Donaldson
had given Pools hope with an 81st minute reply, Quigley scored a
second less than a minute later to kill the game off. |
