Margetts Teams Up With Clare Once More

.....Premier League Division One South East club Frickley Athletic gave him a new partner in the experienced Jonny Margetts.

The 25-year-old switches from NPL Division One North West outfit Tadcaster Albion, having only joined them in August after leaving Boston where he was briefly a team-mate of Clare`s.

Margetts joined the Pilgrims from Scunthorpe United in July 2018.

He had spent close to two seasons at Glanford Park following an August 2016 deadline day move from Lincoln City, where he had opened the 2016/17 campaign with 5 goals in 10 appearances.

He began his career at Hull City and excelled during various loan spells at the likes of Gainsborough Trinity, Stockport County, Altrincham and Tranmere Rovers.

He spent time on loan back at Gainsborough as well as having two stints with Matlock Town in 2018/19.
