Philpot Becomes First New Signing for Alexander

Gary Alexander, who took over as manager of Southern Counties East League Premier Division club Glebe FC last week, has signed forward Jamie Philpot on dual registration with BetVictor Isthmian League South Central side Staines Town.

The 22-year-old only joined the Swans in August and has made 8 appearances and scored 4 goals.

Born in Pembury, he spent his youth career at Millwall and eventually made it into their first team, scoring one goal in 9 appearances for them.

Whilst at The New Den he had loan spells at Bromley, Woking and Welling United before joining Dartford on a permanent basis in 2018.

He scored 5 times in 21 appearances for the Wings before making the step up to National League level with Maidstone United.

He had a brief spell at Bromley before signing for Barrow AFC in March 2019.
