Since
departing the club Doyle has had spells at Isthmian North clubs Aveley and
Grays Athletic.
Doyle,
who turns 23 next week, is a hardworking central midfielder.
After
starting out with Norwich City and Cambridge United as a youngster, he has gone
on to have spells with Concord Rangers, Heybridge Swifts and then Brightlingsea.
He
had only joined Grays from the Millers in June.
Regent
Boss Tom Rothery told https://www.brightlingsearegentfc.com: “George and I had
a chat and we agreed that since he left Brightlingsea he’s not really rediscovered
the form that he was in when leaving and that is probably down to more than
just one factor if we are honest.
"George
is really driven and focussed on getting his head down and rediscovering that
form and obviously having been at the club he understands what he’s coming in
to and I think that helps him settle easily and hopefully quickly.
"For
me I know what George can do when he’s focussed and I believe if we get him
playing to his capabilities he can be a really important player for us and
somebody who can help us in areas that we are not firing in currently”.
