Jones
joined Mossley at the start of last season and became vice captain of the team.
He
began his career in Stalybridge Celtic's academy as an 18-year-old before
signing for Curzon Ashton where he played for four seasons before joining FC
United of Manchester in 2010.
He
went on to make 107 appearances over three seasons, scoring 19 goals also
winning two player of the year awards and helping the Rebels to two successive
play-off finals.
After
a six-month spell at Nantwich Town, he joined Hyde United in 2015.
Over
two seasons, he made 42 appearances and scored twice with a spell with the now
sadly defunct Shaw Lane AFC sandwiched between.
Since
2016 he has had further spells with Stalybridge, Trafford, Hyde and Glossop
North End.
Quickly
becoming a fans favourite at Seel Park, he was voted supporters` player of the year
in his debut Mossley season.
He
made a total of 46 appearances for the Lilywhites and scored 10 goals. |
