Lucas Green-Birch arrived on a month`s loan from SkyBet League Two side Port Vale, while Harry Walker joined from Vanarama National League North neighbours AFC Telford United.

Green-Birch (pictured), who hails from Stafford, played several games for Vale`s reserve team last season.

His youth contract was up at the end of the 2018/19 season, but the decision to include him in the first team squad at the end of last term showed Vale were impressed with what they had seen from the attacking midfielder and he signed a pro deal in the summer.

Central defender Walker came through the youth ranks at the New Bucks Head and, after starring for the under-18s last season, signed a one-year deal in July.

He had a loan spell at then-NPL Division One South side Gresley FC in the second half of last season.
