Phil
Doran, Saul Henderson and Dan Vinten have all signed for the Vics.
Thirty-one-year-old
Doran is an attacking left back, with a penchant for long, mazy runs and a
lethal long-range shot.
He
lists Blackpool, Rhyl, Connah's Quay Nomads and Witton Albion amongst his
former clubs.
He
signed for Northern Premier Division One North West club Widnes in November
2017 from Welsh side Flint Town United and then switched to league rivals
Ramsbottom United in the summer of 2019.
Henderson (pictured) joins the Trickies from league rivals Congleton Town.
The
6`6” striker began as a youth teamer at Mossley AFC, scoring 11 goals in 17
appearances for the young Lilywhites in the 2011/12 season and has since played
for Curzon Ashton, Maine Road, Stafford Rangers, Ashton United and West Didsbury
& Chorlton.
He
came off the bench and notched the final goal in stoppage time as Vics came
from behind to record a dominant 6-1 win against Burscough at Wincham Park on
Saturday.
Vinten,
26, is a London-born left-sided player who was a junior and youth player with
Crawley Town and then played for Horsham, Horsham YMCA and St Francis Rangers
before moving to the north of England early in 2014.
He
signed for Mossley AFC in the close season of 2014 after playing briefly for
Wakefield towards the end of the previous season.
He
crossed the Pennines again to join Worsbrough Bridge Athletic, where he had two
spells, Athersley Recreation, Armthorpe Welfare and Shelley AFC. |
