Nicknamed
`The Beast` by fans of one of his former clubs Stratford Town, the powerful 31-year-old
front man joined the Glassboys in June from Stratford.
He
had returned to Stratford in February 2019 after short spells with Tamworth and
Leamington.
He
started out the Solihull Moors youth set-up before linking up with Earlswood
Town.
After
hitting over 40 goals in the 2010/11 season he was snapped up by Worcester City
for the following season.
During
the 2011/12 campaign he spent a short spell on loan with Stourport Swifts to
continue his development and get additional game time.
In
the summer of 2013, he returned to Solihull where he was often used as an
impact player off the bench.
He
returned to Worcester in September 2014 and then linked up with Stratford for
the first time in July 2016.
He
soon moved on to Redditch United early in the 2016/17 campaign but was quickly
back in the Stratford fold by November 2016 and he duly became a favourite with
the fans at the Warwickshire club.
Taylor
has been amongst the goals for the Glassboys’ so far this season, with
impressive performances including a goal and assist against the Rouslers when
the two teams met in the league at the end of August and a fine showing against
them in the Emirates FA Cup at the Victoria Ground earlier this month. |
