Squires Gate Appoint Evans

Hallmark Security League Premier Division club Squires Gate have confirmed the appointment of Luke Evans as their new manager.

Evans joins from NWCL First Division North side AFC Darwen, who he quit on Monday.

A Blackpool native, Luke lists Wyre Villa, Ashton Athletic, Lancaster City and AFC Darwen as his former clubs.

Club secretary John Maguire told http://www.squiresgatefc.co.uk: "We are delighted to announce Luke Evans as our manager. We identified him as the man to take Squires Gate Football Club forward as we look forward to a new and exciting era."

Evans added: "I am delighted to accept the First Team Manager's job at Squires Gate. I feel that the club has great potential to get back up the leagues where it should be".
