The
20-year-old joins the Clarets on a month`s loan and is available for selection
away to Eastbourne Borough tomorrow.
Cotter
from Limerick, Ireland, started his career with Lifford AFC, Avenue United,
before also featuring for Ennis Town and his hometown and SSE Airtricity League
First Division outfit Limerick.
After
working his way up Limerick's academy, he broke into the first team in 2017,
going on to make 13 appearances in all competitions.
His
performances caught the eye of then-Championship side Ipswich, who secured his
services in January 2018.
He
made his debut for the Tractor Boys in April 2018 in a 1-0 win over Barnsley
and made his second appearance later that month against Reading in a 4-0 win.
Cotter
has also featured for the Republic of Ireland's national side, making 2
appearances for their under-17s and being called up to the under-19s squad as
recently as March 2019. |
