Roma, 33, returns to Boro after helping them to a play-off spot in 2017.

The experienced defender joined Basford in the summer of 2017 from Boro and had a period as joint caretaker-manager of the Nottinghamshire side in 2018/19.

He started out with home-town club Sheffield United, where he made a single senior appearance as well as loan spells with Boston United, Hinckley United and Tamworth before being released by the Blades in 2007.

He joined Hinckley on a more permanent basis and played 100 times for the Knitters before spells with Alfreton Town, Harrogate Town, Gainsborough Trinity and Scarborough preceded his move to Basford.
