Noble
was left out of Pools’ travelling squad for last Saturday’s game at Eastleigh
as he considered the offer and he has now put pen-to-paper to join the
newly-promoted Highwaymen.
The
28-year-old joined Hartlepool during the summer of 2018 following his decision
to leave Notts County.
A
graduate of Sunderland’s academy, he went on to make his name initially during
a highly successful loan spell at Carlisle United which turned permanent in
2012.
His
form at Brunton Park earned him a move to Notts County in 2014 where he went on
to become a fans’ favourite thanks to his combative style allied with a knack
for creating and scoring goals, hitting double figures in 2015/16.
He
is also tried and tested at National League level having captained Forest Green
Rovers to Promotion Final glory in 2016/17.
A
return to Meadow Lane in October 2017 saw him once again play his part as
County made it to the League Two play-offs but his desire to return closer to
his North East roots paved the way for a move to Pools, for whom he went on to
make 56 appearances and score 16 goals. |
