Double Signing Boost for Dorchester
BetVictor Southern League Premier Division South club Dorchester Town have announced the double signing of Ben Rowthorn and Ashley Wells.

Having progressed through Southampton’s ranks from youth level to their under-18 and under-23 sides, Rowthorn (pictured), who is a defensive midfielder but can also operate at right back or centre-back, spent time on-loan with Truro City last season, and has been training with the Magpies squad recently.

 

Wells joins the Magpies on a dual registration from Vanarama National League South neighbours Weymouth having spent the past seven years at the Wessex Stadium.

 

The versatile defender, who can operate anywhere across the back line, has also previously featured for Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) Premier side Portland United.
